Hello everyone, a new League of Legends cinematic from Riot for the Season One 2026. Once again in charge of supervising the environments and creating some of them.

This season is centered around the theme of Demacia, on which I had the opportunity to work: the environment of the village attacked by the shadows — once again at night, haha — as well as the meadow area and the capital.
.
The guiding principle for all of this work was to respect the in-game lore material and to visually emphasize the shapes of the buildings in order to stay true to the Demacian style.

This time it was primarily hard-surface work in terms of forms, which didn’t require too much thought on how to approach the volumes. However, the real challenge was setting up a homogeneous, procedural shader panel that provides sufficient detail effectively and in an optimized way.
